Tenebris Somnia Achievements Guide

The Tenebris Somnia achievements list contains 24 official Steam goals, including six hidden achievements. This page identifies their conditions and helps you separate exploration, combat restrictions and ending cleanup. It does not connect to Steam or verify account progress.

Tenebris Somnia achievements: plan the right attempt

Start by identifying the scope of a goal. Some concern a repeated interaction, others a single fight, a collection, an entire run or a completed ending. These scopes are not interchangeable. Winning a fight with a particular weapon does not by itself establish that a full-run weapon restriction survived every earlier encounter.

Before committing, choose the goal you are actually attempting and read its full condition. This guide does not assign an official “missable” total: Steam’s short descriptions do not classify every recovery window, and a third-party count should not be promoted into an official figure.

Listed achievements

Optional interactions and collection cleanup

Repeated interactions deserve their own check: inspecting the photograph once is not its five-inspection condition, and ordinary conversation or movement is not the ten knocks at Iván’s door. Similarly, owning a book is not the same task as reading it completely. Compare the action you performed with the actual requirement before assuming an unlock failed.

Collection totals also matter. One film canister does not complete Devora’s set of three, and one star locker does not satisfy Stella Plena. The item index covers selected dependencies, including the Cold Chisel; it does not claim a verified location map for every locker or collectible.

For the silver bottle, the official puzzle guide describes the save-point tradeoff. Consider your remaining route before consuming useful recovery opportunities. This page does not invent a way to restore sacrificed points, promise that every save remains available afterward, or recommend deleting game files to reset a collection.

Combat challenges have different boundaries

The Two Stooges explicitly excludes Carnitos, while Valiant Little Taylor specifically requires three Carnitos in one strike. Combining the names because both involve several enemies would produce the wrong checklist. Use the exact enemy and action scope.

Wrench Queen, Iron and wax, and Exhaust Pipe likewise require different plans. The official descriptions do not document every forced-action exception or how every reload affects a run-wide restriction. Do not assume an unverified exception merely because it would make combining challenges convenient.

Hidden achievement spoilers

Use local notes without confusing them with Steam

Tick a goal after checking the game’s outcome and Steam account. Save, load and clear on the tracker are explicit local actions. A changed tick is not automatically a saved checklist, browser data is not a Steam cloud save, and another device will not receive these notes through a site account.

Clearing notes changes only this site’s list. It does not revoke earned achievements or repair an in-game condition. Keep hidden goals closed until their spoilers are welcome, and mark only the challenge actually verified rather than every related objective in the same category.

If an expected unlock is absent

First compare the exact condition, enemy, count and scope. Then distinguish a missed requirement from a completed action without a notification. Record the platform, displayed version and named achievement before seeking help.

The official PC 1.0.1 notes added retry handling for achievements that unlock simultaneously. This is a documented fix, not a diagnosis of every failure or proof of identical console patches. Check official updates and developer discussions, retain useful saves, and avoid sharing account credentials publicly. This page provides the complete official condition list, not a personally tested 100-percent route for every challenge.
